BasicGrey...last challenge.

Hi...can it really be the 14th December,

the past couple of weeks have

just flown by and truly hope you are all

doing ok? and getting all your jobs

today's post is for our last challenge

over at BasicGrey, i have had such a great 3 years

and enjoyed being part of an

amazing design team and all of

and really loved making this,

it is very simple.....

 totally love these words for a crafter

and i think a 10" square is just

what most of us end up working on.....

it is very simple and just used a bit of sparkle 

 with the pretty BG Jovial paper

 used white embossing pwder

on Kraft paper and

punched the wording on my clicker...

BaiscGrey...Sparkle/Glamour

Hi..time again for

love this paper from the BG Jovial 6x6 pad,

thought I would keep it as the background 

 and create a bit of a winters scene in front...

love too the family of three deer
which is a new die by Impression Obsession,
the sparkly trees are cut from
Dee's Distinctively die-Stacker Tree,
  little felt poinsettia,new setiment from Penny Black
and sparkly snowflakes (thanks Fleur.xx)
the snow is puff white embossing powder,
a couple of brads and button...

had great fun making this 

boys shaped card,i had looked for a pattern to follow

and in the end i made my own boat...

 i had originally made this for George's birthday

as he will be 11years old on Monday,

i have kept it simple but i think it still looks a 

bit too young for him.

my favourite season and loved making

this little wall hanger...

i have used a bit of the lovely

Mellow BasicGrey paper,decorated

the embroidery hoop

with lots of felt leaves,two little rolled flowers,

buttons,charm and the die cut house

is by Memory Box-which i cut out

of Tim Holtz Kraft card
love this kraft..might have to get some more :)

BasicGrey challenge...

Hi..it's been a quick week again,

hope you have had a nice one?
and your little/big ones have gone back to school ok :)

Soph and George have been half at home this week then at 

college and school..they have both 

enjoyed their first days and Sophie says it feels a bit

strange going out of town to college

(Peterborough City)

but she has made new friends and loves

all the sport/science...so alls good :)

 my make today is very simple...

we have a new challenge over at BasicGrey

and it is ...Anything Goes.

i had a go at CAS make,a bit hard to do but loved

making this birthday card...

the pretty paper is from BG ..Mint Julep collection,

die cut a couple of hexagon shapes,

made small felt flowers,
also used LOTV Pretty Grunge-Good Times,
sentiment and a Gruge Ticket
some pearls and a button too...

the apple,ruler and pencil are Magnolia stamps
and the stitching which i love using
 is a Molly Blooms stamp-Stitch border 1

Sophie had a fantastic 16th Birthday yesterday,

she met up with friends for a while

and then all the family came for a birthday tea :)

she had lots of lovely cards,gifts,jewelry

for the first time i have made some

rolled felt flowers-great fun...

LOTV... sneak peek.

Hi...hope you are doing ok?
after a few jobs done and the food shop sorted too
i had a bit of craft time yesterday afternoon
and loved making this Welcome hanger...

this gorgeous sunflower image is a new release one
coming very soon over at LOTV..... 
  the new images will be available at the shop
from July 6th and on the website July 8th and
the very lovely DT will be showing lots of
sneak peeks over the next two weeks too...

i really enjoyed colouring them with distress markers
and kept thinking of my own little
Vincent van Gogh painting lol :)

i have used Sizzix Framelits die-labels wavy for the shape,
did a little patchwork design background,
lots of fake stitching and also used one
of the lovely journalling tags
the Welcome wording is cut from
Sizzix Word play and TH Decorative strip die,
the pretty edge is Vintage lace ,
 butterfly is by Elizabeth craft designs
the ribbon is Stampin'Up and added some buttons...

Our House,in the middle of our street...

It is very simple and i tried to make it a bit clean lol..

 from the Curio paper pad-
love the turquoise colour, a few different stamps too
 and loved making the backing paper with
Mini Ledger 6x6 template by The Craft Workshop
and used frayed burlap distress ink.

Hi..it's that time again for our

Easter...BasicGrey Challenge.

Hi...hope you are doing ok?

when i was making this card i was

thinking of those bright Spring sunny mornings

which we will have soon..

loved making it..i have used some of

the dotty BasicGrey- pb&j whole wheat paper..

for our new Challenge at BasicGrey 
 which is a card/project for Easter...

love this Magnolia rooster

even though i have coloured it a bit dark,

the trees,fence and sentiment are also Magnolia stamps.

i have coloured with distress markers,did

a bit of fake stitching and distressing.

the dotty orange card has been embossed

with Cricut Cuttlebug folder-Chicken wire and border

and sanded it lightly.
also used TH decorative strip alphabet for wording,
vintage lace die

and a new Joy Craft Die-vintage flourishes
a couple of brads and BG button...
