Hi..hope you are doing ok?
had a lovely day demoing at SirStampalot
with the sweet Chris and to catch up with crafty friends too
was so nice...

its been a bit of a whirlwind few days,
my Mum had to go into hospital for a couple of days
and home now :) but going back for more tests next week,
we have been doing a few last bits ready
for George starting secondary school on Thursday
and just can't get that sinking feeling to go
away for me :( but George is so excited bless him...

just adored this image as soon as I saw it,

coloured again with distress markers

and have used sentiments from

A Heartfelt Christmas clear stamp set,

heart banner die, Decorative labels 34 die

and a buttons die

lots of faux stitching and couple of pearls .

Hi..a gorgeous sunny day again,

hope yours is lovely too...
our laptop has totally died so
at the moment I am just on the iPad
and maybe just me but I find doing the posts not so easy on it :(
it is a bit short...sorry!

really enjoyed making this
with sweet Foxy by Magnolia,
love sunflowers too and the sun rays
are Tim Holtz stencil...great fun :0)
there is a little shrink plastic bird on the fence too.

I am working on a few makes for my demo day
at SirStampalot next Saturday.

there is just something

about pumpkins and Autumn...

my favourite season :0) 

loved making this card,most of the stamps

are Magnolia ones from the lovely SirStampalot...

some are from 2009 collection,time goes just too quick
with all this crafty fun :)

loved colouring with distress markers,
used some mixed frantage on the corner,
two little mice stamped from another
Tilda image and buttons too...

Hi...hope you are doing ok?
and hopefully enjoying a bit warmer weather :)

i am really trying to catch up,
with Nick back to work
and Soph and George at school
i have loads to do but really miss them alot.

my card has ""Little Cute Tilda"" on it from
the new Magnolia Tilda collection
available at SirStampalot...

not sure if everything goes together but
it was great fun and even cutting out
a couple of those very thin mushrooms lol!
i have sat her on the Goblin tree stump,
used the Love Trees background stamp
and masked the trees so i could
paint the evening sun,trees (forest) and water background.
the sweet snail,mushrooms and cute corner
are from Magnolia too.
i have used aged silver frantage on
the corner,key and made a heart embellishment with it-
i punched a circle of card and added the frantage
a few times to build up the thickness and 
whilst it was still warm i pressed the heart shape into it.
coloured with distress markers
and used glossy accents on the mushrooms...


i would like to enter the MDUC challenge-masking
(hope the background masking with the Love trees qualifies)

A lovely day...

Hi...really hope you are ok today?

love this long day with the clocks changing,

just not so keen on the dark evenings.

it was a great day at SirStampalot yesterday,

how lovely to catch up with everyone...

a little make with an Autumn theme...

 

it started with a straw broom 

and a little block of wood...

love pumpkins and this sweet owl too,

the fence is a Christmas one

(i cut the snowy bits off)

Autumn wording is the

Tim Holtz-decorative alphabet strip  

and the sentiment is by Penny Black.

tied a piece of felt at the top of the broom

and added a button

i used distress markers to colour
and a bit of VersaColor on the owl.
it isn't very big,
enjoyed making it :)

Autumn makes...

my little man has gone back to school today

and Sophie starts her last year on Friday,

i did for Sirstampalot's Demo Day...

love this sweet one-Tilda with corn

(not so sure about my colouring of Tilda :(

Tilda with corn...

the oak leaves and acorn are Magnolia stamps too,

the barn stamp i stamped direct onto

the Magnolia paper and used VersaColor

to colour the shaded areas,

the Autumn wording and decorative strip

are both Tim Holtz 

and i have just added a bit of the Magnolia fence.   

Tilda with peanut...

i have coloured with VersaColor cubes,

Marvy pens and Distress markers

(had to mix a little to get the jumper colour

to match the paper)

 a bit of a pattern on Tilda's scarf too,

the leaves/acorns are cut from

Tim Holtz-Autumn Gatherings decorative strip.

sorry been a bit quiet here

as been making cards for a demo day

at SirStampalot this holiday Monday

a few makes that i did for

 my demo day at Sirstampalot.

it was a lovely day-thank you :)))))

i was a bit worried with it being so cold/foggy

and with it saying -12 on the car

 temperature gauge when we left home 

 (i say we as Nick and George took me,

just don't like driving in bad fog :)

 

i have used/mixed some lovely stamp sets-

Hero Arts:Sew Artsy clear stamps

Art Impressions:Sewing Shoppe

(which has the sweet

 Life is a patchwork saying)

Hero Arts cling stamp:Make Your Own

all has been stamped in

StazOn Timber Brown

and distressed the edges with

 Pinecone versacolor

the papers are a mix of Kraft and

October Afternoon-Farmhouse

 

for the buttons shaker hanger

i used nesties to make a frame,

 3d foam tape so that the buttons

can move around and wound cotton

around the thread holder/sewing machine spool

 

i stamped the pattern image onto

baking parchment and tucked a few 

patchwork pins in the cushion

love buttons so a few of those too :) 

and the little charm

i have made a thank you card,

just making a few bits for a demo day

at Sirstamp next week.

i have used some baking parchment 

out of the kitchen drawer on this one 

for the flower,sentiment and the lovely

new Hero Arts cling stamp-Daisy Label 

also used my new Sizzix Bigz die- Frame Doily

the thank you stamp comes with

the Hero Arts stamp

and for Mum i used some rub-ons

the wording is stamped with

Staz On -Timber Brown

and is by Penny Black-With Heart

the Lace Heart stamp is an old one i think

by GCS Artstamps

i would like to enter a couple of challenges-

and over at Allsorts- One or more hearts.

Hi.. there,i really am sorry for not being around

much during October and missing SO many

lovely posts on your blogs :(

I am not quite sure where it went but it just flew,

George's,Nick's and my Birthday too all in October,

i had a few weeks working on my

Demo day makes for Sirstampalot,

we had a lovely weeks holiday in Germany and the

Spring cleaning that i didn't do earlier this year

(crafting too much lol..)

has become an Autumn clean.

I really hope you are all doing ok?

 here are a few makes:

 

(there is some sparkle on the cards but

it doesn't show very well on the photos)

the tree does need a few more crafty bits..

(its a bit of a long post... sorry)

a photo of my two making friends with 

the German cows,they did make me smile..

Soph is carrying George's scooter for him,

(looks like a bow and arrow lol..)

we was greeted every morning out our front by them.

not to go on anymore but mes very excited

to be in the December addition of Craft Stamper

with my LOTV Winter's scene...

Trick or Treat?

Hi! hope you are doing ok?

Just a little post tonight,

Sir Stampalot are holding their Christmas Launch

all this holiday weekend with lots of Demos

and so many lovely new crafty goodies too...
