Sweet Daisy and simple...

Hi! so hope you are all ok? and avoiding all those nasty bugs out there at the moment.
A bit of a simple card,it wasn't easy to resist my Pinecone VersaColor cube for a little edge distressing etc
but i have tried a card without it.
I have to say i think its too plain :(
The lovely Fleur and i was talking about clean cut/simple cards the other day and white card which is a first for me,just thought i would have a go.
Daisy has been coloured with VersaColor cubes, her hair is Pinecone :),her cheeks are Burgundy(very lightly brushed),Vanilla all over to blend the colours and Bamboo-leaves.
Paper pieced her dress/hair band with Sassafras-Cherry Delicious 6x6 paper pad and with the same paper covered  SU chipboard flower/backing paper too.
We are running a DT Call , if you would like to enter please email Tracy at Squiggle Stamps.

thanks as always for visiting me and for all of your lovely comments.
take care,big hug. Lou.xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Lou. This is such a gorgeous card. Love the papers and the image is very cute. The paper pieced dress and hairband are beautiful and I like the flowers and button on the sentiment. Not a plain card at all. Have these versacolour cubes but never thought of colouring with them, only use them for stamping sentiments. Have a good weekend. Donna

Hi Lou, it's just perfect. I love the paper piecing & I know what you mean ~ I can't do a simple card, It's such a struggle not to "scruff" it up

Hi Lou, this is a cute card. I love the papers and the way you have used them for Daisy's dress and hairband and the flower -it's not plain at all. And you know what they say - sometimes less is more (hope that's right, sounds right but I am known to have senior moments and get things wrong lol) Take care, Linda x

Hi Lou
Not plain, just fresh and different, I love the papers and colours used, especially what you did with the co-ordinated SU flowers. Daisy looks so cute and still gorgeous, even though I love what you normally do too!
Have a good weekend!
