Christmas advent....LOTV little scene.

Hi...hope you are all good today?
a little LOTV Christmas advent...

just had this idea the other day,
it has been an evening project this week
 and great fun to make.

my hubby cut me a few wooden blocks
a while ago and just sanded the edges on this piece
and distressed it with TimHoltz frayed burlap ink.
the sweet winter image is Build a Snowman,
i have coloured with distress markers,
added some sparkle with a gelly roll pen
(which sadly doesn't show up well on the photos)
and the snow is puff white embossing powder.
i have also stamped the Christmas postcard
and star from the Christmas Icons samp sheet
which gave me the idea to
punch the 24 days of advent with
a postage stamp punch, the numbers are
cut from Tim Holtz decorative Alphabetical strip
and i set a little eyelet in each corner

the wire and rusty bell are from
an old Christmas decoration
and it just about holds all of the advent cards :)
the paper is by Kaisercraft and the trees
are cut from Dee's Christmas Stacker Tree die.

a photo from above

the LOTV hand written phrase was just
right for the front,December word is
also made from the TimHoltz die,
i added a bit of lace and a button.

thanks so much for stopping by,
have a lovely day.
hugs all,Lou.xxxxxx

Greetings from Belgrade, Serbia.
I'm a big fan of all the art and crafts, especially the works of pressed flowers, greeting cards, bookmarker, and I like decoupage.
I'm extremely impressed with your work, but I have neither the material nor the tools to be able to create such beauty as you.
Belgrade have very little materials and tools for the hobby, and what there is,it is very expensive and of poor quality. Everything I do, I work with my fingers, scissors and glue to use plain paper, or wood glue. I do not have to drill or glue paper ruller, not all the tools and materials you see here and the video clips on youtube.
By the way, I am a judge, and work hard, so i don't have inough time for crafts.
I'd like to look at my work and give your feedback.
Sorry for my bad english.
