The Ribbon Girl Blog...GD "Thank You" Challenge.


Hi...so nice to be here with a make
for the lovely ladies who asked me to be guest designer
thank you so much.xx

"" Thank you "" is the theme for this challenge...
loved decorating this book,
i think it would be a nice gift and used lots
of pretty crafty bits from their shop and the 
very sweet LOTV Flower Dance fairy...


i have coloured with distress markers and
 sweet fairy has some sparkle too...



used lots of gorgeous Ribbon Girl products ...



Mixed lilac and purple buttons
Faux hessian -silver grey
Mixed colour memo pins
"Faye" ivory vintage lace
Beaded berries-lilac/purple/white
Mushroom charm and
a few Lilac pearls.

and from LOTV i have used ..
 Pretty Grungy-Good Times
Journalling tags,Vintage Background and word stamps.

Utterly, utterly gorgeous Lou!
Long before I was a crafter, I was a stationaryaholic... Even as a little girl, I was obsessed with notebooks and such. Still am. I Probably have a hundred of them scattered around the house right now!
But there is one problem with really special notebooks like this one...
I could never, ever write in it! It's too pretty. Nothing I could possibly think of would be good enough to sully the pages of such a lovely creation.
In a way it's like leaving really special papers untouched because they're too pretty and you want to save them for that "special project", yet nothing is ever special enough.

Or maybe I just need help! lol. x
